Following the great success of the 2008 South West Funding Fair, the Local Authorities, Voluntary Sector and Welsh Assembly Government via the Spatial European Teams covering the south west have come together to deliver the 2010 event.
The Regional Funding Fair is an opportunity for all organisations and businesses to come and see what support and opportunities are available within the south west region, via the EU Convergence Programme and from other sources. This year the event looks towards the vital role played by charities, community groups and voluntary organisations, in the physical, social and economic regeneration of our region. It is vital that the Public, Private and 3rd Sector organisations work together to maximise the benefits available within the South West, not only in the promotion of available sources of funding but also the procurement, delivery and training opportunities.
Exhibitors
If your organisation provides support or assistance to voluntary groups, charities, community groups or businesses that work within these fields, then this event is an opportunity to showcase the type of support that you can provide.
Attendees
If you are one of the beneficiary organisations mentioned above, then this event is of vital importance to you. It will enable you to gain a greater understanding of what types of support are available, what opportunities exist for procurement and training, not just from regional initiatives, but also from key national Welsh Assembly Government strategic projects looking to deliver and impact at a local level.
These National and Regional funders, plus other organisations, will all be on hand to discuss funding requirements and assist groups in developing their ideas. First hand experiences of individuals and groups who have been involved in successful projects from across the region will be discussed and seminars based on the theme of sustainability will be running throughout the day.
