The Fundraising Standards Board handle public complaints about how their members’ raise money as well as offering the public a ‘mark of reassurance’ to look for when giving to charities in the future.
Nearly 800 charities, including many of the UK's biggest, have already joined the scheme, membership of which is voluntary, and in doing so have agreed to adhere to a strict set of codes and a Fundraising Promise committing them to treat the public with respect, fairness, honesty and clarity in all their money raising activities.

Genesis Wales is a project to help individuals overcome many of the barriers they face when wanting to learn new skills or return to work. The project enables hard to reach, economically inactive parents to access learning, training and work opportunities by providing guidance and free childcare.

Payroll Giving Wales is a partnership scheme between WCVA and South West Charitable Giving (SWCG). The free scheme allows employees do give regular tax effective donations to any charity of their choice through their organisation's payroll

GRANTnet is a free to use funding search site provided by the grants database, GRANTfinder.
This site contains an up-to-date database of grants, loans and other initiatives operating in the UK. Currently it holds details on over 4,000 initiatives, including grants from the European Commission, UK Government, local government, and corporate sponsors and charitable trusts.
