Getting to the event
The event will be held at the County Showground, on the outskirts of Carmarthen. A map can be viewed by clicking on this link.
Being a regional event, the partners are keen that the event is as accessible as possible to anyone across this large geographical area. We have already been in discussion with swwitch2share regarding a car-sharing scheme and are also looking at using community transport programmes/schemes as well as highlighting the public transport opportunities that are available. Plans are also being made to provide a shuttle bus service from Carmarthen Town to the event as well.
SWANSEA - TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS: To ensure that you don't miss out on the event, SCVS will be providing free transport to those from the City & County of Swansea through dedicated buses over the day. Please contact SCVS on 01792 544000 or email: scvs@scvs.org.uk by 14th February to register your interest stating your name, organisation (if applicable), number of required places and contact details. Please note that there are limited places available, we will contact you prior to the event to confirm your place.
NEATH PORT TALBOT - TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS: To ensure that
you don't miss out on the event, Neath Port Talbot CVS and Neath Port Talbot
County Borough Council will be providing free transport to those from Neath
Port Talbot County Borough through dedicated buses on the day. Please contact
Neath Port Talbot CVS on 01639 631246 by the 28th February to register
your interest stating your name, organisation (if applicable), number of
required places, any special travel requirements and contact details. Please
note that there are limited places available.
